My father Johnny Yecker started Star Electric Company in San Antonio in 1961. It was a small family owned and operated business then, and is still family owned and operated today by my wife Chere Yecker and myself David Yecker, since 1984.
I worked with my Dad in the electrical business since I was fourteen years old and in addition learned the business by working in the field for the last 44 years. I have been a Licensed Master Electrician since 1985; and now am licensed by the State of Texas. Also a Member of the Castroville Chamber Of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau.
In the last years of serving San Antonio and surrounding areas our customers have included, residential customers in service and repair and in newly constructed homes, businesses, hospitals, schools, restaurants, military bases, manufacturing plants, one of which we have been working for over 44 years, landscape lighting, farms, ranches, and even homes that are Texas Historical Landmarks.
In the last few years of doing electrical work, I have seen and dealt with many different electrical problems and feel confident with the knowledge I have gained. I can take care of any electrical problem that you may have.
